"I felt safe on the ships"
I was a little worried about moving around the ship at first, but i felt safe. The rails felt solid whenever I needed them, which mattered to me. There were a few tighter spots where I had to be more careful, but the staff seemed to be watching and paying attention, so I didn’t feel like I was on my own

"Pretty easy to use overall"
I used the site on my phone and overall it was straightforward. A few of the menu labels felt a little small, but I was still able to find what I needed without much trouble. Overall, I’d say it worked well for me...

"Overall, I thought the place was..."
Overall, I thought the place was clean. The bathrooms were decent and the decks looked mostly well kept. To be fair, there were a few dusty spots here and there, but nothing that felt like a major issue.

"Good visit, not too packed"
We went on a Saturday, i was expecting it to be way more crowded than it was. It ended up being manageable overall, though a few areas on the ships did get a little cramped, especially the narrow stairs and some of the inside rooms.
The lines moved faster than I thought they would, and we never really felt like we were being rushed through anything. When it did start to feel a bit busy, there was enough space outside to step away for a minute and just take a break.

I’d definitely go again, but I’d probably try to get there earlier in the day next time. Giving it 4 stars because the tighter spots were a bit much, but overall, it was still a really good visit.

"We had a great time at..."
We had a great time at Battleship Cove. Getting to actually walk around the ships and touch things made it so much more interesting than just reading signs the whole time. My kids were really into the cramped rooms and the big guns, and the staff we talked to were super nice. We ended up staying longer than we expected, but in a good way...

"I went mainly to check out the..."
I went mainly to check out the exhibits, but the signage was confusing. Some signs looked outdated, and a few seemed like they were missing important info, which made me question how well everything is being maintained. It kind of took away from the whole visit for me.

"Took the kids to Battleship Cove we..."
Took the kids to Battleship Cove we all had a great time. There was loads to see, but not in that boring museum way that makes kids start complaining after ten minutes. They loved getting to walk around the ships, and the staff were friendly even though my kids were basically interrogating them with questions. If anything, they maybe could’ve warned us just how much walking we’d end up doing, so definitely wear comfy shoes. Still, it was easy enough as a family day out, and we’d happily go back.

"I went to Battleship Cove with my..."
I went to Battleship Cove with my dad, it ended up being a really fun day. We figured we’d just wander around for a bit, but the ships are way bigger than I expected, and there’s so much you can actually walk through and explore.

It’s not some polished, fancy museum, but that’s kind of the best part. Everything feels a little worn-in and real, like you’re stepping into the actual history instead of just looking at displays. The battleship was really impressive, and the submarine was probably my favorite because it felt so tight and intense inside.
The staff were friendly and didn’t rush anyone, so we got to take our time and poke around. If you like historic ships or military history even a little, it’s definitely worth checking out.

"The restrooms were fine overall, but..."
The restrooms were fine overall, but they could’ve been a bit cleaner. They were still usable, just not as fresh as I would’ve liked, if that makes sense.

"Nice little gift shop"
I stopped in after walking around and was surprised by how much they had. There were plenty of hats, shirts, patches, and little things for kids. The prices seemed reasonable too. I found a few nice souvenirs to take home, so I was happy with it

I figured the museum staff would just point us in the right direction, but they actually knew a lot and were really easy to talk to. They made the visit a lot more enjoyable than I expected.

"The place itself was cool, but the food..."
The place itself was cool, but the food and drink situation was disappointing. There weren’t many options, the prices felt way too high for what we got, and the food was just okay. I also asked a simple question about alternatives and felt like it was basically brushed off, which was frustrating. If it’s allowed, I’d definitely bring my own snacks next time.

"The special event didn’t really feel worth it"
I was hoping the special event would be fun, but it felt crowded and confusing. The staff also seemed kind of annoyed the whole time, which didn’t help, haha. Overall, it just wasn’t really worth it for me.

"Great visit, and the site got the job done"
I checked battleshipcove.org before we went so I could see the hours, ticket prices, and what to expect. It was easy to find the basics, and compared with some other museum or attraction websites I’ve used, it had the important info without a bunch of pop-ups or clutter. The actual visit was really cool, the ships are huge, fun to explore, and the volunteers we talked to clearly knew their stuff.
The only reason I’d give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the website feels a little dated on mobile, and a few details took more clicking around than they probably should. Some competitor sites are a bit smoother when it comes to planning from your phone. Still, the place itself is absolutely worth checking out if you like history or just want to do something different for the day.

"Admission felt a little steep"
I remember being excited to check out the ships, and some parts were definitely cool to see up close. But looking back, a lot of it went by quickly, and I don’t recall there being enough explanation or context to make the visit feel as full as I expected.
If you’re really into naval history, it might be more worth it, but for our family the admission cost added up fast. By the time we left, I remember thinking it should either be cheaper or include a bit more to feel worth the price.

"The site layout could be better"
The site was usable, but the navigation felt clunky to me. I don’t think it’s fair to make visitors work that hard just to find basic stuff, especially when a cleaner layout would make the whole experience much smoother.

"Nice staff, though a little hit or miss"
The staff at Battleship Cove were friendly enough when we got there, said hi and all that, which was nice. A couple of people were genuinely helpful and seemed happy to answer questions, but a few others felt kind of rushed, like they had somewhere else they needed to be. Maybe it was just a busy day or I caught them at the wrong moment, I don’t know. It didn’t ruin the visit or anything, and overall everyone was polite, but the vibe was a little mixed. I guess I just expected it to feel a bit more welcoming, especially with a place that has so much interesting stuff to ask about.

"Parking was fine, just a little tricky lol"
Parking was close enough to where we needed to be, so that part was nice. It did get a little confusing to figure out, though, and the lot filled up quickly when we were there lol. Overall, it was okay, just not the smoothest parking situation...

"Pretty view, but not as relaxing as I hoped"
The waterfront location was nice and I did enjoy being by the water, but overall it felt a little messy and not as peaceful as I expected. Getting around on foot wasn’t super easy either, which kind of took away from the experience. I also tried reaching out for help with a couple of questions, but support kept sending me in circles with the same generic replies, so that was frustrating. It wasn’t terrible, just a bit of a letdown

"They really do keep these ships alive"
You can tell the old ships are looked after really well, really well. Everything feels cared for and preserved, like people actually take pride in keeping them alive
